My Costa Rica Trip

I just went on a trip to Costa Rica with my school. Nine of us went plus 3 chaperones. We went all around Costa Rica and stayed there for 12 days. We went hiking, white-water rafting, zip-lining, soaking in naturally-heated volcanic hot springs, and swimming. We also did a home stay, went shopping in a souvenir market in San José, went to museums in San José and went to the beach. It was amazing!

This is the Orosi Valley. In the valley we played soccer in church ruins. It was so fun!

This is the Volcan Irazu's principal crater.

This is the village we stayed in for the home stay. We got to hike, play with the kids in our home stay family, paint a school, watch the World Cup, play cards and learn to cook Costa Rican Food.

Pura Vida!

Hello everyone! It's summer and I'm back from Costa Rica! It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Comment below if you want a post about Costa Rica with some pictures. I also want to thank everyone who has followed the blog or followed me on Twitter. I still can't believe people actually like to read my posts! Anyway, I have a lot of fun posts planned! I also re-did my blog layout, which is why I all of a sudden have a bunch of posts. Hope you enjoyed my mini-update/random ramble. :)

PS - Pura Vida (pure life in Spanish) is something they say all of the time in Costa Rica. It can be hello, good-bye, or just thrown into conversation.

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been so MIA from my blog for a while! My life has been pretty crazy...I'm in a huge musical production at the moment, so I've had a bunch of rehearsals for it + school and sports. The show finally runs on this Friday and Saturday, so I will have much more free time after that to work on the blog. But, I am in school, and exams are at the end of May, so I will not be able to post very often in May. Then, summer! I will be posting a lot more during the summer, but I will be in Costa Rica for 12 days in June, so I will have no access to Twitter or the internet. Sorry about all of the excuses, but once I hit 10 blog followers and 30 Twitter followers - I will be doing a small contest/giveaway, so I need your help to do that (remember, the sooner I hit those goals, the sooner the contest/giveaway).
